The talcum powder is soft, water-repellent, odorless, asbestos-free, without additives and versatile.
Talcum powder is also known under the names magnesium silicate (hydrated), soapstone, (Mg3H2(SiO3)4), talcum venetum, soapstone, stealite and magnesium silicate hydrate.
Properties of talcum powder
makes it easier to put on latex (simply powder latex or spread it on the skin)
is required in foundries to form a separating layer in molds between the bottom and cope
Prevents soft plastics, rubber or latex from sticking together due to heat or aging
as a filler in the paper and pulp industry, paint and varnish industry as well as the rubber, plastic and ceramics industry
as a care product for latex, rubber, silicone (protects the latex even after long periods of storage – no sticking and prevents wear)
